Dr. Kerdman

A little bit about me...

In my practice I integrate the art and science of psychotherapy with a strong focus on global change.

My intention is to help you thrive. That means that I am committed to helping you : Relieve and eliminate emotional pain caused by fears, anxieties and traumas; Become at ease with yourself and the world around you; Experience feelings of joy; Grow empowered to create meaningful, loving relationships, and engage in life's creative processes.

My belief is that, starting with the very first breath you take, these intricate pieces of life's puzzle are required on a moment-to-moment basis. They are essential for the creation of a joyful and fulfilling life. For this reason I work with people of all ages.

A great deal of my experience is firmly grounded in Attachment theory and Neuroscience. For over a decade I was a member of Dr. Allan Schore's, UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, private group where I have studied these subjects extensively. This approach serves as the foundation and guides the progress of our sessions.

Once a secure relational base is established, we are free to venture out virtually in any direction. To do so I incorporate into to my psychological practice a variety of modalities. For instance, I integrate it with 17 years of my architectural experience. It provides a unique blend of creativity, structure, stability, and balance. In addition, to aid  psychotherapy, I use Neurofeedback, Photobiomodulation, and Biofeedback. This helps generate neuroplasticity, or growth and restructuring of your brain and nervous system. Last, but not least, based on 27 years of yoga practice, I use a strong mind/body focus to help you embody change. From genuine human connection to brain-computer interface, I use alchemy of many disciplines to help you heal.
